History

Originally a part of Michalovce-Jaseno county.  In the 19th century it was owned by the Sztaray Family. 

Throughout its history, its inhabitants were employed as woodsmen and coalmen.

1337 Jezeno, Obres, Jezenew, 1369 Ebres, 1374 Vbres, 1400 Wbres, Obrys, Obres, 1808 Ubreš. It is mentioned for the first time in 1337 (“Jezeno, que an. n. Obres vocaretur, Jezenew seu Obresch”), it belonged to MIchalovce-Jaseno county. In the XIX century passed to Sztaray family. During the History, its inhabitants were occupied in agriculture and as woodmen and coalmen.  Source: Roberto Cannoni, Italy
