History

 

1567 Chukaloc, 1773 Csukalowcze. Situated in the Pčolinka river valley, it mentioned for the first time in 1567 as a possession of the town Humenné. After, it belonged to nobles Okolicsány, and, in the XIX century to nobles Lonyay.
