My husband's father was born in Velka Polana in June 1914. His name was Moric May. We would love to trace any family and to find out more of the village/town where he was born. He arrived in England in 1939 and never returned to his homeland. We know that his mother (my father-in-law's mother) remarried at some stage and believe that her 2nd married name was Pepi Bergadova or Pepi Gruber.
